2009 Annual Fall Meeting

ILI will hold its annual fall meeting on Monday, November 9 at the Bloomington/Monroe County Convention Center at 302 South College Avenue in Bloomington.  The evening starts off with cocktails at 5:30, followed by dinner at 6:30 and the program at 7:30.  The program for this meeting will feature Kathy Spanier of Cold Spring Granite speaking on sustainability and how natural stone fits into the Green movement in architcture.  Kathy serves on the Natural Stone Council's Committee on Sustainability and has done extensive work with the University of Tennessee's Clean Products Division which was hired by the NSC to help in their efforts to better position natural stone in the LEED rating system and as an environmentally friendly material.

Prior to the night meeting there will be a round table from 4:00 to 5:30, also at the Convention Center.  The ILI Marketing Committee will be on hand to talk about current ILI activities, review this new website.and to seek input from the members for future activities.
